This is a stunning getaway! They've taken a old stables building and turned it into a luxury retreat. So well done, it has everything you need. If you are looking for a romantic getaway in the Gippsland region, then this is it! Highly recommended. Will certainly be back. Hosts are great. Brad

Lovely property. Had a great time staying in and going out for some exploring. Super quite and comfortable. Super well insulated, as we had almost 40° weather and felt just fine while inside.

The stables is a cool beautiful place to stay in Maffra … it’s our second trip & we were ecstatic is was available :) great just for an overnighter or for a few days .. and the best place to explore all around the region. The town is quiet enough but with the cool local Maffco brewery & the Tinamba hotel not far away it’s def not boring !!

Accommodation was great. Terrific location, comfortable with lovely linen. The bath was indulgent in the bathroom. We were disappointed with only one towel for a booking for a couple. High winds the night we stayed.

My partner and I booked one night just to get away from the kids and we loved the feel as soon as we drove in the driveway. Very clean inside with everything we needed for the time we spent there. Very quiet location barely any noise at all. We couldn’t fault the place the bed was super comfy and warm. It was in a great location only a 1 minute drive to the Main Street.

I really loved our stay here! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the space was cosy, and we loved the bathroom. Can’t recommend this spot for a nice night away in Gippsland!

This is a very nice place, and just what we were looking for on our short stay. It was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and was exactly what we were expecting given the descriptions and the photos. We will definitely by booking on here on our next trip to Maffra.

We loved our stay - very rustic but modern. The bed was so comfy and the double shower and bath was amazing. Easy check in, very close to main street and very quiet location. Everything was as described but it is even better in person! We would absolutely recommend and would love the opportunity to stay here again.

The Duart Stable Door 1 was a beautiful space to relax and unwind. Jason and Meegan left little treats throughout the kitchen for guests to eat and that made our stay even more special. After 2 days of horseriding, a soak in the tub was exactly what we needed and it didn't disappoint. Would love to stay again for a couple of nights and explore more of Maffra

We stayed at the stables the night of our wedding and the following and it was simply divine!! The place was gorgeous, comfortable and so clean and the bathroom was just stunning. And we loved the little brekkie that was left for us! It was such a lovely place to stay, we just wish we could of stayed longer. Thank you!
